What We Have Done
  • As a hands-on educational institution for training IT professionals on cutting-edge software tools, we successfully graduated more than 70 students in 2000 doing business as Computer Institute of Technology (CIT).
  • At CIT, we taught several domains of the J2EE platform :
  1. Java Programming,
  2. Java Server Pages (JSP)
  3. Java Client – Swing.
  • We also taught the complete Oracle track:
  1. Data Design theory (Normalization)
  2. Structured Query Language (SQL),
  3. Procedural Language / Structured Query Language (PL/SQL),
  4. Oracle Forms & Reports
  5. Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
  • As a sub-contractor to Comsys with Equant as the client, CompInsTech successfully supported and maintained two legacy network applications for monitoring several Nortel switches, Cisco, Motorola and Lucent routers.
  • Also at Equant, we were involved in the homegrown web-based Common Trouble Ticketing System (CTTS) – an automated software tool used for instant customer notification of network components functionality via email, phone and fax. CTTS used WebLogic as the middle tier and tomcat as the http server. It replaced a legacy client-based J2EE swing application which was burdened by XML interfaces.
  • Also at Equant, using complicated shell scripting language and several thousand lines of Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, we successfully migrated network supporting data from a Sybase database to an Oracle database.
